Robert “Bobby” Mendes, MD, FACS

Dr. Mendes serves as Adjunct Assistant Professor, Department of Surgery, UNC School of Medicine. He specializes in vascular surgery with a subspecialty in vein care. Dr. Mendes is board certified in surgery and surgery-vascular surgery. Relying on years of experience, he specializes in vascular-interventional radiology with extensive experience in venous treatment.

A graduate of the University of Miami Medical School, he served his Fellowship at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in the areas of vascular surgery and interventional radiology. He is affiliated with Rex Vascular Specialists and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
